Logo: Coastside Recovery Initiative

The Coastside Recovery Initiative is a newly formed initiative aimed at helping business's along the San Mateo County coastline who've been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The center of the logo depicts a stylized map of the coastal area that will be serviced by this initiative.

The client ended up choosing an all-blue color scheme, but I was partial to the pop of orange. Orange is a symbolic color for Half Moon Bay and the coastside in general (HMB Pumpkin Festival and pumpkin farm businesses, sports teams from HMB use orange frequently, etc), and I thought it made the mark more visually dynamic. Which one do you like best?
