'Oh, to be a poet'

This week's Weekly Warm-Up prompt was to "use a medium of your choice to showcase a creative skill you wish you possessed." Based on this, I created a digital collage using vintage advertisements, colored pencil brushes, and the brushes I created based off my ink wash studies. All of these tools came together in response for this week's prompt which led me to the sentiment, 'Oh, to be a poet' as my creative writing skills are one that I have longed to improve and spend more time on. I created this piece in Procreate after I found vintage advertisements for stationary via Flickr and Unsplash which helped me represent my hopes for my creative writing and how sometimes all you need to do is step in front of a blank piece of paper.
