Notebook Collection: My Natsukashii

My Natsukashii is a collection notebooks, journals, diary covers and bookmarks that was developed taking inspiration from Japanese aesthetics, their long preserved culture and rich textiles. These textiles have a combination of traditional and contemporary motifs derived from various sources. as we continued to research these sources we found out about the historical and cultural significance of Cranes (Tsuru) in Japan. All the products were developed by hands, and were handpainted with homemade colors of coffee, turmeric and alta.
