Storyplace Mural - Coral Reef

I was asked by Te Papa Tongarewa ( The Museum of New Zealand) to complete an entire room mural for Storyplace, a fun play space for children under 5.

Working with the team at Te Papa I designed a mural that would start at one end of the room in a deep sea theme and morph into different landscapes as you go around the room, creating different imaginary play spaces throughout.

This shot is of the coral reef area, hand painted onto the wall with acrylic paints and detailed with Molotow Markers
