Evergreen
Evergreen is a tribute to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The main photograph is of Mount Rainier, Sunrise side, but the mountain is only partially out up at the day lodge, at 6400 feet elevation. The very top is obscured by clouds, yet it is beautifully framed by pine trees. Such a vista cannot truly be contained by any frame, as it spills out here. Ferns are abundant in the northwest woods. The snowy ground, falling rain, gray misty atmosphere, and passing waterfowl round out the overall feeling.
