Portfolio - Grid 3 Concept
One of my goals for this year is to get better at websites. I spent 15+ years practicing Industrial Design, then the last several years practicing digital product design, but "pure" informational websites I am not comfortable with.
How do you solve that? Practice, practice, and practice until you get comfortable with it. Simple right? So I figured I would start with the worst client, myself.
After about 4 styling concepts, I landed on one I have been calling the "Grid" concept. With minimal but present background illustrations, a bigger focus on typography for styling, and simplified colors to create a dark and light mode, it just felt right and seem to match where I would like to head next.
While working within the "Grid" styling language, I continued to refine and "finalized" about 5 versions. This is version G-3. More pages soon.
