i m PAW Universe Superheros storyboard sketch progress

The storyboard is visual outline for the art medium...whether it's for visual books, comics, animation, film, etc. It’s comprised of a series of images that convey what happens in the story, from beginning to end. Typically it also includes notes about what’s happening in each frame (which I did not do for this piece). A finished storyboard will be similar to the appearance of a comic strip.

Storyboards can range from simple to complex, ranging traditional/thumbnail/animated storyboarding techniques, using hand-drawn and/or software to create the desired visuals. I wanted to keep it more traditional style for my i m PAW character and environmental background sketches, and as it was an experimental piece written notes were not included. Dialogue and voice-overs were not applicable for this piece, although background music, camera, composition, and tune/pace progression were considered as I sketched out the images in mind.

For this stage some of the important image considerations include selected i m PAW (KikiMoji x Kiko and Friends) characters, props and details about setting, timeline for the storyboard, and information about how each element in the scene interacts with other elements. Sketching is beneficial here because it gives me a better visual sense whether more images need to be inserted in between, or too many images and determine if there are any images that is redundant or irrelevant that can be taken out.
