Horseshoe Anvil Logo

A logo I designed recently for a client who works as a farrier and mentor for others looking to learn the craft. Definitely not an industry I expected to ever design a logo for, but it was a lot of fun nonetheless.

The final mark combines a horseshoe with the abstracted form of an anvil. One of the considerations when designing the symbol was how well it would stamp into an actual horseshoe when being forged. Accordingly, we settled on a variant with very bold line weight and clean geometric forms.
