SA Refugee Week 2014 Poster Competition Submission

Here's my Refugee Week 2014 Poster Competition Submission, created around the idea of cutting out the stigma.

When the boat stigma is removed you're left with people, as that's what refugee people are.

Physically, the poster then takes a form reminiscent of a niqāb or burqa, as you hold the poster, you can see things through the people's eyes, get a different perspective, it reveals that we're all people under our cloth.
