Carnival of Souls

In 2020, The Spectator Film Podcast wanted a commission for their extra-special Halloween episode on Carnival of Souls.

Given the film's focus on water as a dreamlike element, I thought it only fitting to use watercolor. The piece draws on my own selections from the film, as well a few reference photos from the '30s and, of course, Tillie, the unnerving Asbury Park mascot.
