Carte des céréales
Carte des céréales is a concept brand identity project designed by Jeff Yas. I’d love to walk into a modern but comfortable bistro and choose a grain, a topping, a preparation style, etc. The core message is to connect the food we eat with the land, farmers and our bodies. Understanding origins and geography can actually make food taste better, and the visual experience of every restaurant would express this uniquely. The symbols were scanned from Henry Dreyfuss’s 1972 “Symbol Sourcebook.” Thank you to these talented photographers: On @Unsplash: Millet by @tventos. Rice by th3sand7. Barley by hjrc33. Corn by cryancom. Rye by @danielcph. @AdobeStock: Buckwheat by Maryna. Oats by airborne77.
