Some characteristics of tragic heroes:
• They’re usually a pretty good person.
• They start their story doing well.
• The audience must root for them.
• But they have that pesky fatal flaw.
• Their downfall is (kind of) their own fault.
• Their punishment isn’t always fair.
• They don’t get a happy ending.
