STAN HYWET PASSPORT

Stan Hywet Halls & Gardens is a historic estate museum located in my hometown of Akron, Ohio. The museum became one of my favorite places after numerous visits with my grandmother throughout my childhood. Therefore, Stan Hywet was my first pick when I received my school assignment to design a museum brochure.

My challenge was to make my brochure stand out in the museum's plentiful brochure stand. I decided to make my design geared towards children, which meant the brochure had to be engaging.

My solution was to create an interactive design that taps into children's sense of adventure and tendency to collect and categorize. The objective of the brochure "passport" is to collect a colorful stamp upon visiting each location to document the journey. This concept encourages active involvement with the museum grounds, fostering a more memorable, educational experience.
