What I find to be true in most enterprise apps is that in a lot of cases 80% of what shows up on a given screen doesn’t need to be there. It doesn’t mean, it’s unnecessary totally, it means it doesn’t need to be surfaced right now.
The concept is called - Progressive disclosure.
It’s not about what people need as a whole, it’s more a matter what do they need right now to take this very next step, once they do that, what do they need after that.
