BRIEF Based on the current UI, break down designs into smallest elements and build a design system from the ground up. Make sure the brand guidelines are met, the system is consistent and the design elements are accessible, versatile and highly usable in different use cases.

ABOUT THE CLIENT An open source software load balancer. Note: The name of the client is not disclosed and the design system name is changed due to NDAs.

MY ROLE Junior UX/UI Designer

THE CHALLENGE The current brand guidelines were designed with marketing and print in mind - fonts and colors are not suitable for digital interface use and need some tweaking and adjustment, especially on the accessibility front.

CONSTRAINTS The product is live and well known among its users, so keeping the overall, recognizable look&feel of the product is a must. However, this should not take precedence over accessibility and respect towards well established web rules.
