Petals for Armor

Day 3 Challenge - a landing page. For this design prompt I decided to focus on a new album. While there is already an album cover for this specific album, I decided I wanted to create my own. I found this amazing image online (Photo: Lindsey Byrnes), edited it in Photoshop and created the album cover you see here.

For the landing page itself i wanted to keep it incredibly simple, with the album being the focal point and the only button being the stream/ download button (which was news to me, originally I had "buy now" but looking at current sites for new albums it seems the "stream/download" is the new terminology).

Since this would, presumably, be the artist's actual site that this landing page would sit on, I included the hamburger menu in the top right so if someone was looking for another page/ information it would be easy to navigate to it without cluttering the actual page with more words.

Lastly, I blurred out the same image and darkened it to make an interesting, but not competing, background. To make the album pop I added a shadow but changed it to white to make it look more like it was floating in front.
