Mike’s Tattoo Sleeve Part 1

I completed “Mike’s Tattoo” on October 19th, 2019. This was a tattoo commission for an arm sleeve and will cover an already existing tattoo. He wanted a Celtic theme and requested to have rocks, a blossom tree, and a squid taking down a ship. After some research I discovered these unique rock formations in Ireland that look like hexagons. For the front of the ship design I used a symbol that means ‘to see the way clearly’ and made shields using Celtic symbols meaning ‘courage through the storm.’ This was such a fun project and I can’t wait to continue with the next part.
