The Hive Custom Workshop Logo

Next to being a graphic designer, I'm also really into woodworking. The Hive is a project I started with one of my best friends when COVID hit, we create things with wood. And once a project starts going somewhere, it needs branding. So I made this.

Since the moment we started the project we always used hexagon shapes and joked around with the worker bee joke. So creating the branding for this was easy!

We stayed true to the hexagon and bee theme and named it the Hive, like bee hive.

I created that little bee icon, which had to be simpel but strong so we could make a branding iron out of it too. And to match that bold character I went with a bold font too.

And as you might know, I'm a bigtime script guy. So this logo needed some script too, hence the custom workshop part!
