Su Caja | Preschool Subscription Boxes

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Su Casa Family Ministries had to pivot their usual in-person preschool activities for an at-home alternative. I worked with them to develop "Su Caja" (Spanish for "Your Box", as well as a play on words on the ministry's name).

Without the usual colorful posters and boxes of toys familiar to a preschool classroom, I worked to capture toddlers' attention with "Cappy" – a cartoon capybara that would follow students from lesson to lesson with a series of instructions and little appearances.

"Cappy" could be found alongside a series of cardstock instruction cues made for our parents. I worked to capture Su Casa's energy through their bright color palette that followed from instruction cards to activities, illustrations, and more.

These materials were enclosed within a cardboard home, adorned with additional stickers that I designed to help Su Casa staff best organize materials for a smooth, yet eye-catching pick-up process for Su Casa's parents.
