Ah, yes, the non-traditional choice of many half-elf hipsters: The "Loomerang." This long range weapon is special, because it hits any target for 1d8 damage (even around corners!), but flies away after making contact, only to return randomly during the campaign for 1d4 bludgeoning damage upon a failed Dexterity check.
