Design Process - Washer Application

Overview:
Trying to do laundry as a college student can be stressful and annoying because of the tight lecture schedules.

Washer is an online laundry service for college students and was built around college students needs. Washer solves the troubles of laundry by providing fast and affordable laundry service.
Washer is a user-friendly application that is very easy to navigate through.

Target Users:
-Who? : College students staying in school hostel without access to washing machines for easy laundry.

-How? : Mobile App

Hypothesis:
This app is largely targeted at college students who want affordable and quick laundry service with option of pickup and delivery service.

User Persona:
This persona is based on the people I interviewed for this case study

Behaviour:
Name - Helen
- College Student

Helen is a Medical student with a busy lecture schedule of 8am - 6pm everyday except Sundays. She doesn't have time to do laundry and she seeks a fast, affordable and convenient laundry service.

Goals:
-Get laundry done fast and easy
-Affordable laundry service
-Easy to schedule laundry service on mobile phone with option of pickup and delivery.

Demographics
-Age: 20
-Location: Idia Hall, University of Ibadan.

User Interview:
To understand how this app can solve the problem that people have with laundry,i interviewed some college students and this is the report:
- They admitted to not having time to do laundry due to tight schedules and lack of washing machines.
-They also said they dont patronize laundry services often because laundry marts are far from school and there is no option of pickup from their hostels.
Washer helps solve all the aforementioned problems.
