Client Commission! Custom Power Ranger Morpher

Hi! I was tasking of creating a customized stinger transition for a client who streams on Twitch.
The project included creating a customized Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Morpher - I went the extra mile here because I LOVED the concept.

My client came to me looking to create a stinger transition for her stream, and her brand is based of f of the Pink Ranger that she cosplays as. Immediately I could already visualize how I was going to bring everything together.

This was the perfect challenge for me to brush up on modeling within C4D and animating with Element 3D in After Effects as it's been awhile since I even used the two programs together. I wish I could share the final product here, but will have to wait until my client officially launches.

How I started was creating a flat vector design of the Morpher in Illustrator, I then proceeded to import the AI file into C4D as splines and extruded each piece of the Morpher. This is intself as a long process! I then imported the C4D OBJ into Element 3D within After Effects and proceeded with the post processing, texturing, and animation.

Overall I am super happy with how this turned out! Total time for the whole project from start to finish was about 5-6 hours. Let me know what you think! Which Power Ranger was your favorite? :)
