Journey Captured

While video conferencing, my coworkers and I were playing with different backgrounds. (We miss working together in person, so we have 5 o'clock happy hour video calls!) I couldn't find a high resolution image of the 1981 live album Journey Captured, so I made one. I have always been blown away by this album cover. The original art was airbrushed by Stanley Mouse and was perfect for recreation in Adobe Illustrator. All I had to do was draw one half of the beetle and wing, then flip and duplicate. Maybe you can see just 5 of the repetitions here, but in my file I went all the way to 11 capsules deep!
