Siren - 55/365

This one developed some interesting quirks as it came together. Somewhere towards the end, I decided I wanted her body to be negative space, but doing so instantly lost the arm she's leaning on. At the same time I was having issues with making her look a little more threatening than a mermaid. I originally gave her fangs, but those felt a little silly. The solution for both my issues was to give her a bloody hand/claw. As it's on the end of the now-invisible arm, it's a second-look kind of element which I think plays really well with the idea that you don't know the danger of a siren until it's too late. It also offers resolution as to where that arm disappears to - you can picture it without seeing it.
