09 | Ambar Lucid — Garden of Lucid

This album literally feels like lucid dreaming in the middle of a tropical garden. This year I discovered my love for bilingual songs, mostly performed by daughters of the diaspora due the power contained in the fact that someone has the courage to embrace their heritage and their roots. And on the same note, I think language plays an important role in this record. In Garden of Lucid, Ambar blends both Spanish and English in a soft, smooth way using hypnotic harmonies that feel seamless to your ears. This was defs one of my favorite findings from this year.

Fav tracks: Garden, Questioning My Mind, Cambia, Story to Tell and Universe
