Merry Christmas everyone!

Here are stills from a Christmas installation project I completed recently. We decided on another concept for the project, but this was an idea I quite enjoyed creating.

The concept was a minimal luxurious white Christmas. The focal element was a massive Christmas tree with a surface pattern inspired by an exploded acorn. Light reveals through the openings and lights up adjacent areas.

Scattered around the tree and amidst the surrounding areas, are giant Christmas decor emerging from the ground. In continuation with the festive theme, the decor is framed minimally in large red frames symbolizing gifts.

Luxury was the emphasis and combined with a white Christmas theme, a brilliant reflective silver was chosen as the main material. The silver material reflects pedestrian traffic and increases perceived activity in the spaces, bringing more life to the area in our socially distanced times.
