RIP TO MY YOUTH!

Turning 30 in 2020 was a chaaaaallenge for me. Isolated, anxious, stir-crazy and TOTALLY feeling sorry for myself. Like how dare a global pandemic take the final days of my 20s from me?!

Then I remember, nurses, frontline workers, essential employees and teachers keep showing up and my gratitude for them provides the needed HUMBLE SLAM BACK DOWN TO EARTH!

Nurses are seeing really scary stuff, being there for our loved ones when we can't be, risking their health for the wellbeing of us all, saving LIVES.

Essential employees are keeping stores stocked and open while being cussed out by 'freedom-needin' karen who can't breathe with that mask thing on. :|

Teachers are somehow out here finding a way to engage, entertain, teach all ya'll crazy ass children THROUGH A TABLET!

Whatever, today i'm just thankful for all of you that keep showing up. I'll just try and turn 30 again next year...global pandemic mulligan. :)
