Steveston Tram Banner

As a resident of Steveston who has had a life long fascination with trains, I was inspired by the humble history of interurban tramcar 1220 and loved the idea of illustrating our beloved local attraction in the style of vintage travel posters.

I was chosen from over 400 submissions to represent the theme of transportation on street banners displayed all over Richmond, BC. Amongst official unveilings and meeting the mayor I also got to experience seeing my artwork pooped on by birds.

While it was super fun to have my work lining the streets of the city and flying over my hometown, the highest honour was when my artist parents made a print and hung it in their house.
