07 || Sault - Untitled (Black Is) & Untitled (Rise)

Sault is a force!! 4 albums in two years?! Most big bands take 10+ years for that amount of output, quality aside. The two albums that Sault released this year are evolutions of the ESG sounding debut from 2019, but now with richer pools of influence and sonics.

In the late oughts, I was really into a Kanye West mixtape that had a Kid Sister feature on it. Although the members of Sault are still anonymous, it is widely rumored that she is the main vocalist. To which I say “She got her toes done up”!!
