Wallpaper - Pareidolia

Pareidolia is used to describe the tendency to perceive patterns in random stimuli, such as seeing shapes in clouds. The artwork contrasts notions of technology with materiality, reflecting on the cloud symbolism associated to mythological zodiac animal signs found in Chinese culture. When you look up close, the clouds vanish and you are immersed into childhood nostalgia, counting how many familiar shapes you can identify between the clouds.
