Targetti - Logo Concept

So today's post was a redesign I made for Targetti. Targetti has been designing and producing indoor and outdoor architectural light fixtures since 1928.

For ninety years their products have been the epitome of innovation, research and attention to detail; they light the most prestigious artistic and architectural works of art, create atmospheres and arouse emotions.

I felt their existing mark didn't communicate this well enough and took it upon myself to attempt a redesign. Major concerns for me were:

1. Kerning was somewhat all over the place in some parts 2. Visually looked unbalance 3. Didn't convey the message of being pristine and attentiveness to aesthetic detail 4. Align with their mission of exciting and inspiring

The mark proposed tries to address all these and more challenges.
