GoalKeeper // Interface Mockup: Graduation

Just one of many snapshots I've made of GoalKeeper, a mobile/desktop productivity app I'm designing that features a zooming user interface and NO LISTS! Only circles nesting in other circles. This particular use scenario is that of a college student who is, at the moment, very zoomed in on his or her specific goal of graduating from college. If he or she zoomed out, we would likely see more clusters -- which could be anything from "Stay Healthy" to "Become A Better Skier" to "Movies To Watch On Netflix" to "Grocery List".

I think this is an easier way to cluster and manage multiple to-do lists. It lends itself to singular, one-by-one task management, but also allows for users to gain emergent understanding of their broader, deeper levels of motivation.

- Tap to create a single task; draw a circle around tasks to make them part of a broader goal. Times infinity.

- Pop bubbles as you complete corresponding tasks.

- Users can zoom out to see all of their goals at-a-glance, or zoom in to narrow on one goal in particular. Kinda like a "slippy map" for a person's responsibilities/aspirations!

By the by, this idea complements and co-aligns with my actual senior thesis paper for my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, "The Influence of Goal Setting on Performance and Wellbeing," which you can download and read on my LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kttully .. beware, it's kind of long and dry!) I love this stuff. Feel free to ping me if you ever want to talk productivity.
