Olivier

It’s hard to imagine winter holidays in Russia without lots of mayonnaise salads in every house. And the king of them is Olivier salad for sure! We also call it winter salad 🙈 So here’s all you need to make it:
✨boiled potatoes
✨boiled carrots
✨boiled eggs
✨bologna sausage
✨pickles
✨green peas
✨mayonnaise of course
You cut everything into dice, add peas and mayonnaise, salt a bit and you’re done!
You can use boiled chicken instead of bologna sausage, this way it turnes into “Stolichniy salad” (like the capital’s salad literally)
Traditionally you make A LOT of this salad for New Year’s Eve and then eat it during several days after 😅

🎄Interesting fact:
Statistics say that around 60 tons of Olivier salad are eaten by Russians every New Year’s Eve
