eBay Card Sorting

We have carried a quantitative open card sort in the U.K., Australia, Italy and Germany. This card sort sought to find a user-centric taxonomy for eBay in those countries.
The research objectives for this qualitative, face-to-face study are to:

1. Validate the results of the quantitative open card sort by:
- Testing the top-level categories obtained with a closed card sort.
- Clarify any ambiguous findings from the quant sort and provide a rationale for
decisions

2. Understand online shopping behaviours with generative research into how people like to shop online for items in the three key areas of:
- Fashion
- Home & Garden
- Electronics.
