Overcoming the Entry-Level Job Market

These characters were created for an article about overcoming the challenge of obtaining an entry level job. Lord knows how hard it is to enter in the workforce without much experience, but their are ways to show your tenacity. Keep at it!

As I continue designing, I'm trying harder and harder to not default to the types of people I typically draw. Lately I've been trying to see what "cues" make someone of a particular race, sex, or group say "that represents me." Looking at real, candid people has helped out quite a bit, and I really encourage everyone to step out and draw people who don't look like themselves or their immediate community. Be bold; include others.
