Design Simplification Exercise - Cat Logo
My typical simplification process goes like this:
I pick a photo with a clear pose, I sketch over it in a way that loses some fine details. Then I take that sketch and make another sketch over it, this time discarding even more details.
Each object has some distinguishable features that help us recognize it. Your aim should be to keep those features and discard everything else that doesn't contribute to it.
