The Story of Nuh (AS)’s Ark

Prophet Nuh (AS) was the first prophet Allah sent after Adam (AS). He is one of the only 25 prophets Allah has mentioned by name in the Quran. Nuh (AS) preached to his people for around 950 years and tried to convince them to give up their evil ways and worship Allah, which is the purpose Allah created us for. However, despite repeated warnings and telling them of Allah’s impending punishment, the people failed to listen. Hence, Nuh (AS) prayed to Allah to destroy the disbelievers since they were insistent upon spreading corruption.
