FreeDoh Bakery Logo Variations #epicbrandingchallenge – loreatus
The following Project was a part of a #epicbrandingchallenge on Instagram created by Lindsay Marsh. She composed a series of imaginary client briefs for her followers to use in order to create a corporate design fitting for those clients.
This client brief introduces a company that wishes to sell gluten free products under the name FreeDoh Bakery. Their unique selling point is that all of their products are certified gluten free.
After researching the topic more thoroughly, I noticed that gluten free products are made with flour which does not contain wheat and that most common alternatives are potato starch, rice and almonds. Creating a design focused around popular gluten alternatives seemed to be an interesting direction.
But to keep the design with playful illustrations serious and trustworthy, I picked a strong serif font, accompanied by a simple and clean sans for the flow text and titles.
