VR interface to youtube
#weekendproject On Friday, I was thinking about the release of google glasses back in 2014. I remember being really excited about the technology; however, as we all know the world wasn't ready for the technology just yet.
But we've come a very long way over the past 6 years, so I got to thinking about best use cases, how I as a user would interact with the applications and how I could bring my favorite applications into an extended reality world.
All of this ideating led me on a rabbit-hole of ideas and concepts, some I already understood, and some not so much.. after a while, I decided to design my own extended reality interface concept.
Now the goal was to create an interface that would allow me to access my favorite apps using hand gestures on XR devices such as glasses. The goal wasn't to create a full-fledged application but instead to use design thinking to create a simple interface to access my favorite apps like youtube.
I want to reiterate that this was very much a starting point. I would really appreciate your feedback on this concept or any resources you think might help understand what makes an AR/VR/XR interface user friendly.
Thanks in advance friends
Ps. This concept was fully created on #adobexd
