The Snowy Day

THE SNOWY DAY: Another logo system we created for the South Carolina Children’s Theatre 2020-2021 season. This was one of their 2nd Stage Shows.

In total we created 4 of these 2nd Stage show identities, this one for The Snowy Day, based on the Ezra Jack Keats book about Peter, a young boy enjoying the first snowfall of the season. The sun is featured from a dream he has about the sun melting all of the snow, before waking up and seeing that it has snowed hard again the next day. The Snowy Day is a sweet story with simplistic, fun to work with visuals, and the custom text is playful and a little bit quirky to fit the lightheartedness of the story.
