Minimalist Children’s Book Cover Series

Looking through copies of classic kids books, I noticed that the artwork was either very cartoon-y, or extremely detailed.

I wanted to begin a series of book jackets that would take a minimalist, modern design approach to the images allowing children and adults the chance to own books that they can proudly display on their bookshelf.

Each of the classic tales is reflected in two shapes dancing with each other and completing a simple four-color hint at what’s inside.
