Music app

For me, music is like therapy. It is one of the most calming and soothing things ever. And like every day I was scrolling through my Spotify playlist. I keep exploring new songs, artist. And I saw that the app is taking me through memory lane of this year. So many new songs, so many moments related to each song. It just made me go through the stories. And I really liked how this app is taking care of the user experience. At the same time, the app has raised the expectation bar. Like this, I started thinking about how can such apps make a one shop stop solution? And I started crafting the UI.

In music apps, the main thing I think is to consider how the user scans through the screens. While designing we must ensure that we are guiding the user visually along a suggested path. With this, I took care of the hierarchy of elements to reduce visual noise. As there are many elements like music cover, play buttons, information following with the list of songs. And thus we must help the user going through this visually dominant journey.
