Social media has become quite anti-social. What was meant to be a way of connecting with people and friends has now become more of a platform to celebrate yourself rather than to form closer relationships. Rather than just being social around media, Syncify’s mission is to make media social, starting with podcasts.
Syncify’s team is very passionate and enthusiastic, and as best friends for years, the founders, Sam Harris and Jack Hughes, always bring great energy and humour into their communication. My brief was to explore a new branding for them and then explore different concepts and functions for the app. After selecting a colour palette and branding they liked, I then applied it to different UI layouts to explore different levels of focus between podcasts and social aspects. I then developed these ideas further when I was creating their pitch deck.
