Forrest App

To help one of my best friends with his business during the pandemic, I developed an app. He is selling Christmas trees, which means he is making the most revenue between November and December.
Before the season, we saw an increase in requests for tree deliveries. So the idea was to digitalize the whole delivery process from end to end. Before, it was a fully analog process requiring loads of messy paperwork.

Now customer data is stored in a database. Somebody can plan the deliveries effectively on a map. And in the end, the routes are calculated by their kilometers. Furthermore, the app lets you invite users to your company, manage user rights, and send out notifications.

The app was built using React and Typescript and integrates with Algolia search and TextMagic. Geocoding is happening through HereMaps.
