The Manila Paper Company

A logo concept I designed for a print shop my friends were planning to establish in Manila, Philippines. The concept was inspired by the "Nilad" flower where the name Manila came from. The stamen was a side view of the squeegee used for silk screen printing while the middle is the sun, a design element visible on the national flag of the Philippines. The colors used were orange and gold which symbolizes the golden sunset of Manila bay, famous around the world
