Seconds Before the Breakdown

I still have a slight DOOM Eternal buzz going on especially with the color palette. So I painted this dystopian piece. The concept for this painting evolved as I was working on it. Initially I just had the character design and pose in my head but as the painting progressed I got this idea for the spotlight and oppressive police force behind (and probably in front) of her. In the end I got some pretty good storytelling elements going on here and I’m very happy with how it ended up!
