A friend entrusted me with his tattoo design – an honor, but also kind of daunting.

This was one of my explorations, thinking it would be cool to stray from the usual tattoo script. Taking a step back I'm coming to the realization that there's a reason for the longevity of tradition. Though this is good on paper and in pixel, it could not hold up in time on skin.

Or maybe it could, with the right person and the right sentiment.

But for a tattoo in memoriam and for his sort of persons, it just won't do. So here we are, and I've attached both traditional and non-traditional explorations.
