Gateway Blvd Cover Art

A local band pivoted mid way from Sound Breaking to Sound Bites however the original concept was to show a broken record due to the style of rooted 50's-80's music style the band plays at local gigs. The logo was created before I got to introduce the idea of what was picked. The idea presented was using the folk/rooted music style the band plays on a cracked record that makes a look of a band member playing on a mountain or if they were on a stage as well. I took a series of images and built a broken record with the cut out and placed it on the back side. The application on the CD design was also done in respect to the cover art.
