In the last couple of years, I have personally seen the growth of online payment in the Indian market. We transitioned from slow and HTML-based net banking websites to local grocery stores accepting online payment via QR codes and successful payments in a matter of seconds.

But then again, increasingly, I have also seen these apps like PhonePe or PayTM or Google Pay ditching their original USP to include so many things inside one single app, that ultimately they've all become cluttered and slow.

WePay is my attempt to unclutter such apps and perform the main function for which these apps are meant for - paying and accepting payments.
