Saint Michaels Mount, Cornwall, England

The island off the coast of Marazion, Cornwall, England. Known locally as the Mount. It's Cornish language name Karrek Loos yn Koos translates as the grey rock in the wood. Perhaps the most famous of Cornwall's landmarks. St Michael's Mount is the Cornish counterpart to Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France both are tidal island and have a similar conical shape. On the island is The chapel of St Michael and a Castle.
